The materials are fun and engaging for
students and parents as well
and follow a logical and educationally
sound curriculum.
Classes
Classes
are limited to 6 students so that each child gets individual
attention within a small group lesson.
After 30 years experience
teaching, I assure you that children respond very well in a class
situation
where the pressure of always performing solo is
removed.
An hour may seem a long time for a piano lesson but
as we move and sing and play games as well as the piano, the time flies
by and the children
are fully engaged and happy to cooperate. This
length of time allows for rhythmic, vocal and ear training as well as
theory and keyboard work.
And..........it's fun!
Classes are formed in fall and at semester break in January and are reorganized as needed.
Ages
as this gives them a head
start in musical and social skills before they get to the piano.
Fees
Materials
for the year are approximately $ 125.00 per child with nothing extra
needed for the entire year.
Quite a bargain compared to buying books
every few months.
Tuition is $18.00 per lesson , payable by the term or monthly if necessary. Terms are approximately 9 weeks long.
